What is mediation?

Mediation is a problem-solving process, in which a neutral third party, the mediator, guides discussion between two conflicting parties toward resolution. In mediation, the people involved in the conflict, not the mediator or anyone else, make the decisions for the future. Mediations are completely confidential.

Win-Win
---------------------------------------------------
All parties sign an agreement they helped create. No one needs to lose.

Confidentiality
---------------------------------------------------
All information is confidential and mediators may not be called by administration or teachers to testify on the events in a mediation.

Effective
---------------------------------------------------
At Troy, nine out of ten mediations reach an agreement. Nine out of ten mediated cases keep their Mediated agreements. No other dispute resolution process can boast of such success.

Convenient
---------------------------------------------------
Mediators schedule appointments around your schedule. Our goal is to take care of your problem that day!

New Anger Management Groups
--------------------------------------------------
