ACTIVITES AND DUES:

Minutes 12/8/04

- Thurs, Dec 16th – Nursing Home Party at Alterra right across the street:

we need people to come help out, bring food, possibly perform, and bring craft items

- Mondays – tutoring at Deerfield Elementary (near Crooks and South Boulevard)

- Next Week Mon, Tues, and Wed – sign up to sell candy cane/cards at all lunches

*also we need people to sort the cards into 1st hour classes and to pass them out to 1st hour classes

- T-shirts still on sale for anyone who wants one

- Tomorrow (Thurs, Dec 9th) – gift wrapping at Barnes and Noble – we really need people to show up for this – shifts are from 7-8, 8-9, and 9-10 pm

Minutes 12/1/04

- Common Ground Teen Crisis Hotline signup: big commitment – 1 year, 4 hours/week

- Mon, Dec 6th – 1st day of weekly tutoring at Deerfield Elementary 4-5pm; there will be rides available

- Sat., Dec, 4th – Operation Christmas Cheer from 8:30 am - 3 pm at the Oakland International Airport

- Fri, Dec 3rd – Postermaking in the media center for candy grams

- Thurs, Dec 9th – wrapping gifts at Barnes and Noble – shifts from 7-8, 8-9, and 9-10 pm



Minutes 11/17/04

- Common Ground Teen Crisis Hotline interest signup still going on:  it is a big commitment – about  4 hours a week for a year, and training is required.  See Tina if interested.

- Saturday Service project:

            This Saturday- Nov, 20th from 9am -12 noon at Lighthouse Emergency Services in Pontiac

- Operation Good Cheer: unload x-mas gifts from planes

- Saturday, December 4th at the Oakland International Airport 8:30am -3pm

- Boys and Girls Club – starts after Thanksgiving break

- Nursing Home Christmas Party – Thurs, Dec 13th

            interested in playing an instrument at the party, see Joe

- STARS interest signup still going on – after school tutoring, 4-5 pm

- Christmas Gift Wrapping – Barnes and Nobles on Rochester Road

            Nov 26th and Dec 9th – one hour shifts from 7-10 pm

- T-shirt/dues:  $7 t-shirt if you already paid dues, $15 for both dues and t-shirt, $10 for just dues

Minutes 11/10/04

- Anyone interested in playing an instrument for a nursing home Christmas party? If so, talk to Joe Tekelly.

- Bake sale at conferences: bring baked goods Thurs, Nov 11th

- Club Photo: next week: Wed, Nov 17th after school in the lecture room – meet there at 2:40-2:45ish, the actual picture will be taken at 2:50-3:00
note: wear your t-shirts if you have one

- Activities coming up:

- Bake sale at conferences Wed, Nov 10th and Thurs, Nov 11th - we need people to bake goods and to sell at conferences ~ if you're interested sign up or tell one of the officers

- Nursing Home - no new signups, but we might have a Christmas party

- Boys and Girls' Club - Auburn Hills location - sign ups are coming up

- Saturday Service project coming up too - help out at Lighthouse (they collect goods for Thanksgiving.
