College representatives typically visit Troy High School in the fall on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. These sessions are open to all students regardless of grade level. The schedule is listed on a bi-weekly basis in the Guidance Office Updates and a reminder is given over the daily announcements.
Occassionally, a representative will come and present a “brown bag lunch” visit. If a student would like to visit during that time, they need to come to the career room during their assigned lunch period with their lunch to hear the representative.
Finally, we always have some universities that come to Troy High during the school day. If a junior or senior is interested in coming to that presentation, they need to sign up at Miss Brubaker’s desk in the guidance office and let their teacher know that they will be attending the presentation.
College night is an annual event hosted at Athens High School each fall. This year it will be held on Monday, October 11 from 6:30 - 8:30. At this event, college representatives from across the country come to meet with students and share information about their university. It is a worthwhile event and open to all students.
As always, if you have any questions please see your counselor.
