Kudos Klub

Kudos Klub is a student-run organization that recognizes individuals who have shown peer leadership or have contributed in an unusual way to the high school community.  In order to receive recognition from the Kudos Klub, the student cannot have been recognized by any other group.
We also reward students who have succeeded in non-team sports such as karate, ice skating, and baton twirling; or in individual or personal development such as Scouting; also for acts of heroism.  The unique quality of this award stems from the fact that the criteria, like the selection, are made by peers; students select students.
Students are recognized in a showcase each semester and receive balloons, Kudos Bars, and ribbons.
Once a month, a single student is selected for recognition by the Troy Exchange Club for outstanding achievement.  He or she receives a plaque and a one hundred dollar bond at a Troy Exchange Club luncheon held at Mountain Jack's.
In April, a Student of the Year is selected from the monthly honorees.  He or she then has an opportunity for national recognition and a $1000 college scholarship.
Staff members who go above and beyond the call of duty, who volunteer their time and effort to school or civic causes are also celebrated.
Meetings are usually held Tuesday mornings, every other week.
