PSAT

The PSAT is the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test.  This test is taken during the fall of a student’s junior year on a set Saturday in October.  The test should be taken by all juniors who are college bound or who plan on taking the SAT. Advanced sophomores have also taken this test for the purpose of practice.

The test will allow juniors the opportunity to take a timed, nationally normed test to help prepare them for the SAT.  This test is also the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

Be sure to listen to the announcements in the fall to find out when registration will take place in the guidance office.
