Confidential Confessions - Reiko Momochi

A dark series, each chapter about different people and different situations. Confidential Confession faces the most morbid but very real issues of society. Rape, suicide, prostitution, sexual harassment, drug abuse, stalking, and sometimes a terrifying combination of the list. It focuses mainly on girls in high school and the hardships they face.

Two friends who embrace each other in loneliness and make a suicide pact, but only one friend dies, the other left with her own guilt. A girl who witnesses a friend's suicide after continued sexual harassment and public embarrassment at the hands of a teacher, vowing revenge. A girl who watches her friend throw herself into a prostitution ring after being addicted to the drugs they offer. A girl who falls in love with her own best friend.

These stories, each one, teaches strength and perseverance. They show that in life, there is no happily ever after, only hope.
