For how long are books checked out?

Fiction and Non-Fiction books are checked out for a period of two weeks. Reference books and periodicals may be checked out overnight.

How many books can I check out at a time?

Students may check out as many books as they are willing to take responsibility for.

How do I get a library card?

All students are issued an ID card at the beginning of the year which serves as their library card. New students may request an ID card from the Media Staff. The replacement cost for lost ID cards is $5.00.

Must I have my library card to check out materials?

You may check out materials without a card. The card does make check out a faster process.

When may I go to the library without my class?

Students are welcome to come to the library before school, after school and during lunch as long as there is not a class scheduled for fourth hour. Students may come at any time during the school day as long as they have a pass from their teacher. There is a limit of five students per class that may be sent with passes to the media center during any class period.
