Son of the Mob: Gordon Korman
It was a very cute book, especiallyl for teenagers looking for a light, fun read. Although I found the plot incredibly predictable, that didn't seem to affect the quality of the reading. I don't think what the author was going for here was necessarily the story line or suspense, but light humor and slight insight into the teen mind. I didn't feel like he was exagerating any cliche emotions, like a lot of authors seem to do when writing about teen romance, and many of the situations were pretty comical. He didn't make any assumptions about how a teen would act, or play up or down the cleanliness; his characters were very believable and real. I would highly recommend this book if you want something relatively short and very light to read.
