This book is about a young 14-year-old girl named Cici. There is a cottage by a lake that she goes to every summer. She can’t go one summer and the following year she goes. Cici then finds out that her crush’s brother, Brody killed someone she knew (Zoe) at the lake the year before and is serving 25 years in prison for it. She is shocked to have just found out. She doesn’t believe that Brody could have done such a thing. Brody’s mother and younger brother don’t think it’s true either. Then Cici decides to be a detective and find out who really killed Zoe (the girl). You’ll have to read for yourself to see what happens in this amazing book!
