PreCalculus is the fifth course in the secondary college prep mathematics curriculum. 
Students enrolled are usually Seniors, but juniors and seniors are represented.   
Seniors will find themselves prepared to take a first semester Calculus course in college.
Juniors will be prepared to take A/B Calculus.
The first semester focus is College Algebra, while the second semester introduces a variety of college topics.
