I was born in Pontiac, MI on August 7, 1970. I grew up in Farmington, Novi, Findlay (Ohio) and Davisburg. After graduating from Holly High School, I moved to Phoenix, Arizona to attend college.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics Education from Arizona State University (go Sun Devils!) and a Masters in Mathematics from Eastern Michigan University. I am an alumna of Sigma Kappa sorority. I have been married to my wonderful husband since May 26, 1991 and we have two fantastic children. My daughter was born on April 17, 1999 and my son was born on January 20, 2002. We live in Clarkston.

I enjoy water skiing, playing cards and spending time with my family.
We are active members of Davisburg United Methodist Church.
