 High School Invitational Art Show

the Cranbrook Museum of Art invited the Troy High School art department to participate in a high school art show at the museum - three pieces were selected: a video by Jenny Tondera & Michelle Yo, a computer graphics piece by Brooke Hawley, and a scratch art piece by Tom Finney

Exhibition Dates:  March 23- Wednesday March 29                 Opening Reception: Friday March 24 (6-9pm)            Critique of displayed work by Cranbrook graduate students: Tuesday March 28 @ 7pm

Title: The Posse Has Gathered in the Engineering Room

//Concept// It's surprising what people say and do when you simply listen. They can end up sharing their most intimate secrets or a deep-rooted childhood memory.

    In The Posse Has Gathered in the Engineering Room, a myriad of individuals meet in the cramped closet of a high school art room and prove that everyone has a story to tell. 

   //Process// Those featured in the film were chosen in a variety of ways. Some were stragglers found roaming the halls of Troy High School while others played active roles in the filmmakers' lives.

    The film was shot using a digital video camera and was edited using Pinnacle Studio.
