Advanced Algebra is the third course in the college prep mathematics curriculum in the Troy School District. It is not
uncommon to have students from all four grade levels in the same classroom. Successful completion (C or better) of Advanced Algebra leads to enrollment in Discrete Math/Trigonometry the following year.Most students find the second half of Advanced Algebra to be one of the most demanding semesters in the college prep sequence. For many students, the challenge of the material along with the pace at
which it is taught, results in the need for new and improved study habits. |
