On September 8, 2009, 60 students began an adventure none of them will soon forget. In groups of 30, they were left under the careful guidance of Mrs. Karbon. Their mission: to learn mathematics. Each student must find a way to navigate the sometimes treacherous waters of "Algebra Island" learning the skills needed to move on to the next destination. If they are going to be successful, they'll have to learn to depend on one another, to accept the challenges that lie ahead, and to push themselves to their personal limits.
