ARVINMERITOR - Summer Internship & Senior Co-op During the 2007 school year, a unique partnership was instituted with this Troy
based tier one automotive supplier. Junior status students have the opportunity to interivew for selection into this unique co-op/intern program. Students work
40 hours a week during the summer between their junior and senior years and then continue to work co-op 12:30pm -4:30pm daily during their entire senior
year. This is a paid internship/co-op job. Selection is based on an application, interview, essay, transcripts and attendance. Transporation must be provided by
the student or the family. Troy Schools encourages Sophomore students to learn more about this opportunity, so a student could evaluate if this program
fits their course of study. Arvinmeritor encourages the students to return during their summers off from college to work as interns. Due to the afterschool
commitment required of the co-op student, participating in clubs or sports may prove difficult. |
