If you are considering playing at a Division I or Division II college, you MUST meet academic eligibility standards in regards to your GPA and ACT scores. Accommodations can be granted to students enrolled in the Special Education program. See Frequently Asked Questions section of
the NCAA website regarding the accommodations When you register for ACT test in March of your junior year, you will sending your test scores to the NCAA clearing house.
(The NCAA code is 9999) Division I schools have a sliding GPA scale and ACT sum score.
Generally 2.5 GPA & 68 for a sum score for the 4 subject areas of ACT test (English, Math, Reading & Science) GPA is tied to 16 Core classes
If playing for a Division II college, the ACT sum score of English, Reading
Math & Science must be 68 points or higher and GPA 2.0 in your 14 Core classes Core Courses for Division II 3 years of English
2 years of Math 2 years Science 2 year of addition Eng, Math, or science 2 years social studies 3 years of additional courses from above list, foreign language or computer science |
