HOW TO ORDER PHOTOS

Use the School ID Code 2526TROYHS to pre-order your photos online. This code will expire the morning of picture day. Contact Kaiser customer service to order after picture day, (248) 619-9119 or cs@kaiserstudio.com.

You can pre-pay online by credit card, at www.kaiserstudio.com using the School ID Code 2526TROYHS. If ordering online, make sure your student comes to the camera for their individual picture or on picture day return this form to the camera staff with exact change or check made payable to Kaiser Studio.

LEAP Crew

WHAT IS LEAP?

LEAP is a student mentorship program designed to help incoming freshmen feel welcomed and supported as they begin their journey at Troy High. Through LEAP, upperclassmen serve as mentors, offering guidance, sharing advice, and helping freshmen navigate both the academic and social aspects of high school life. It's a great way to build connections, ease the transition, and create a strong sense of community from day one.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Each freshman will be placed in a LEAP group made up of two

upperclassmen mentors and around ten freshmen. This group becomes your LEAP family for the entire school year! You'll connect through academic lessons, fun social events, and meaningful one-on-one conversations.

WHY?

Your upperclassmen mentors know exactly what it's like to be a freshman and how overwhelming it can sometimes feel. Through LEAP, you'll start building meaningful connections right from the start and have trusted people you can go to for support, guidance, or just to ask questions!

Sports Physicals & Registration

As we prepare for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year, we'd like to share important information regarding high school athletics in the Troy School District. Please read carefully to ensure your student-athlete is prepared and eligible to participate.

FlNALFORMS REGISTRATION

All athletic forms must be completed and signed by both a parent/guardian and the student in FinalForms prior to participation in any sport.

Returning Families: Log in to your FinalForms account and select the option to update for the 2025-2026 school year.
New Families: The Parent Playbook provides step-by-step guidance for account setup and registration.

SPORTS PHYSICALS

Per MHSAA policy, all student-athletes must have a sports physical dated April 15, 2025, or later to be eligible for participation in the 2025-2026 school year.

Steps to Complete:

Update your FinalForms profile.
Print the physical form and health history pages.
Bring them to your doctor's appointment.
Upload only the last page (Preparticipation Physical Evaluation Form) to FinalForms after it has been signed by a physician.

TSO-Sponsored Physical Nights:

Athens High School- Wednesday, June 11 I 6:00-9:00 PM (Aux Gym Entrance)
Troy High School-Wednesday, July 2316:00-9:00 PM (Main Gym Entrance)
Cost: $25 (Checks payable to Corewell Health Family Medicine). Open to all TSD middle and high school students.

Fall Sports Start Dates & Athletic Information

FALL SPORTS START DATES

Tryouts for fall sports begin Monday, August 11, 2025 for Cross Country, Football, Girls' Golf, Girls' Sideline Cheer, Boys' Soccer, Girls' Swim & Dive, Boys' Tennis, Volleyball, Boys' Water Polo.

Tryout dates and details will be shared through district communication in June and posted on line. Please refer to your school's athletics website for the most up-to-date information.

ATHLETIC FEES

Pay to Participate

$200 per sport for the first two sports (no fee for a third sport).
Maximum per household: $600.
Payments will be made directly through FinalForms once a team roster is confirmed. Do not pay until your child has officially made the team.

Fee Waivers:

Students who qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch are eligible for a Pay to Participate fee waiver.

Steps to complete waiver:

Complete the 2025-2026 Free/Reduced Lunch application (available online or in your school's main office).
Upload the verification letter from Food Services to FinalForms or email it to Camille Marbury at cmarbury@troy.k12.mi.us. A copy of this verification letter must be received in order to grant the waiver.
Check the waiver box in FinalForms to indicate your intent.

Athletic Passes & Game Admission

Athletic Passes are available at high school registration or year-round through SchoolPay:

StudentPass:$60
Adult Pass: $80 (single) or $120 (two adults)

Game Admission

All Varsity and JV contests (stadium, gym, pool): $7 per entry and $5 senior rate available at the gate.
We will continue to use GoFan for cashless ticketing for all home JV and Varsity athletic events.

Troy High Orchestra String Camp

September 5-7, 2025 at Camp Copneconic, Fenton

Camp Copneconic is a large, beautiful camp with modern, comfortable facilities. We hope that ALL incoming and returning orchestra members will attend.

Students will spend Friday and Saturday participating in rehearsals, sectionals with DSO coaches, outdoor activities, and

team-building exercises. In the evenings, students will enjoy games, activities, and a bonfire.

The weekend concludes with a concert on Sunday morning, after which students will return home with their parents.

Student Accident Insurance

Because medical costs can be expensive, Troy School District does provide families the opportunity to purchase student accident insurance on their student through Student Assurance Services.

This supplemental policy would assist with your out-of-pocket medical expenses (i.e. deductible) should your student sustain an accidental injury while coverage is in effect. Also, if you do not have any insurance on your student, this would be primary for accidental injuries. There is a variety of coverage options and premiums are a one-time payment for the school year.
