Attention Troy High here are the college visits for this week:
Today September 18th – Baker College at your lunch hour in The Counseling Office also Northwood University at your lunch hour in the Main Office Conf. Rm. 2
Wednesday September 19th – University of Michigan 3rd hour in the Auditorium also University of Detroit Mercy at your lunch hour in the Counseling Office
Thursday September 20th Fashion Institute of Design at your lunch hour in the Counseling Office and after school Boston University at 2:10 in The Stable
Friday September 21st Paul Mitchell at your lunch hour in the Main Office Conf. Rm. 2 and also the Marines at your lunch hour in the Counseling Office

Attention all seniors!
During Homecomning Spirit Week on Wednesday, September 26, during 1st hour, Prestige photographers will be here to take the senior class panoramic picture.
If you would like to order the class picture, order forms are now available in the main office.
 
Would you like to help tutor underprivileged children in Detroit?
Would you like extra volunteer hours? Would you like to make a difference in our community?
If so, then join D.E.S.(Detroit Education Society) tutoring club for our first meeting on Wednesday after school in room 134.

Attention all student leaders of UNOFFICIAL clubs:
There will be a very important meeting for all unofficial club student leaders on Thursday, September 20, in the lecture room.
The district is requesting extensive information regarding how many unofficial clubs are active and how many students are on the rosters.
If no one from your club attends, it will be assumed that the club is inactive.
Come prepared to turn in a club report and an up-to-date member roster.
See Mrs. Pierce in the main office for the club report form and for more information.
 
The weight room is now open for general student use from 2:35-4:05pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Do you want to help kids while earning volunteer hours?
If you answered yes to either question, then come join Read and Repeat! Come to the first informational meeting Wednesday, September 19th right after school from 2:15-2:45 in room 216.
Snacks will be provided. All are welcome.
If you can’t make it, please stop by room 216 no later than Wednesday, September 19th to see Ms. Rick for a flyer with the information you missed.
 
If you want to become a speaker- or already are – or if you have some interests in performing poetry or cuttings from plays- you should join the forensics team.
This is THE club that allows you to perform and compete against other student in a the public speaking or acting category.
The first meeting of the Forensics team is Tuesday the 18th in Mrs. Clarks room- room 201.
We will be discussing category placement and future tournaments.
All students planning on competing this year must attend—even students that were on last year’s team.
 
Homecoming court nominations will be taking place at all lunches today thru Wednesday. Head to the commons to nominate!
 
Korean Club will be having their first general meeting on Wednesday, September 19th after school in room 312.
There will be Ramen for $2 and make sure to bring your friends!
 
Attention students who wish to join IASA, if you are not already on the email list you must stop by room 207 before Thursday to sign up.”
 
The Balfour company will be here Thursday and Friday of this week to take cap and gown and graduation announcement orders.
Thursday they will take boys' orders during all lunches in the commons, and Friday will be the girls' day, also during lunches in the commons.
Be sure you bring your payment with the order!
