Acceptable payment for parking fee: Cash or check - payable to Troy High School.
Student Parking Regulations - Troy High School
- Students must possess a valid drivers license to purchase a parking tag.
- A per tag parking fee will be assessed. The fee will be $50 per school year. The charge for lost tags will be $50.
- There is to be NO sitting in or driving of the vehicle once the student arrives at Troy High School, until school dismissal time.
- Once on school property, speed should not exceed 15 mph.
- Reckless driving of any nature (i.e., spinning tires, donuts) will result in suspension of driving privileges.
- Vehicles are not to serve as lockers for books or clothing. Students are not to be in the parking lot during the school day without permission from the administration.
- Vehicles are to be parked in accordance with pavement markings. Parking on a diagonal or in an area without markings is not permitted.
- Student traffic MUST enter from Long Lake Road. Students are to park in the designated student parking lot. Parking anywhere else on school property will result in the loss of parking privileges.
- All student vehicles parked on school grounds MUST BE REGISTERED with the school, having the proper tag.k. Misuse of parking identification tags will result in loss of driving privileges.
- All students must be licensed and covered by insurance. The school IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for the vehicle or its contents.
- Student vehicles may be subject to search if there are reasonable grounds to believe drugs, alcohol, stolen property, or other contraband might be present in the vehicle.
- Students are NOT PERMITTED to leave the school grounds at lunch with their cars. Students violating this rule will lose their driving privileges. Also, students leaving school for OSTC/Co-Op who take others who are not permitted to leave with them will lose their driving privileges.
- Parking regulations are strictly enforced. It is considered a privilege to park on school grounds. Suspension of driving privileges, issuing of parking tickets through the Troy Police Department, towing of vehicles, and/or suspension from school may occur when violations of these regulations occur.
